23rd Textech Bangladesh Exhibition to be Held on November 9

The "Textile Series of Exhibitions," an international textile expo, will be held in Dhaka from November 6 to 9, 2024. The event will feature the "23rd Textech Bangladesh International Expo 2024," the "22nd Dhaka International Yarn and Fabric Show 2024—Summer Edition," and the "43rd Dye+Chem Bangladesh 2024 International Expo." The exhibitions will showcase a wide range of products and innovative technologies from the garment and textile industries.

During a press conference held at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel on Monday, October 21, the organizers shared details about the upcoming event. The exhibitions are being organized by Conference and Exhibition Management Services (Sems-Global USA).

Meherun N. Islam, President and Group Managing Director of Sems-Global USA and Asia Pacific, announced that the four-day international exhibition, marking 22 years of continuity, will be hosted at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center in Purbachal, Dhaka. The exhibitions will be open to the public daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Islam highlighted that the exhibitions serve as the largest business-to-business (B2B) meeting platform in Bangladesh, offering buyers and suppliers in the garments and textile industries an opportunity to engage in direct communication to expand their businesses. The events bring together buyers and suppliers under one roof, saving time, labor, and resources. Additionally, the participation of international buyers and sellers will also add a new dimension to tourism in Bangladesh.

The organizers noted that these exhibitions are held annually in Bangladesh, Brazil, Morocco, Thailand, and Sri Lanka. This year's events will feature over 1,475 companies from 37 countries, representing more than 2,245 booths.
